Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. Her name has been praised for her TV and film work since the 1980s. Her awards include the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett grew up in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an Aunt who lived in New York New York. Bassett's mother had split from her father at around five. Her younger sister went to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. In high school, Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided that she wanted to become an actor. After graduating at Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980 with an undergraduate degree of African American Studies, she went on to earn the Master's degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the principal roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
